Senior Regional Sales Executive

Position Summary

Smoothwall, Inc. is seeking a highly, motivated Senior Regional Sales Executive who will be responsible for conducting outbound sales calls to I.T. professionals in the K12 space. This Senior Regional Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and driving new sales opportunities, conducting sales presentations, and closing business in a defined territory.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and developing relationships with prospective customers
  • Responsible for the generation of cold and warm leads based on territory
  • Prospect, research, and identify new potential customers
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and perform client-facing sales presentations via Zoom to I.T. professionals
  • Educate potential channel partners on our products and partnerships via sales calls and webinars
  • Demonstrate proper documentation of sales activities in Dynamics CRM
  • Travel, as necessary, to regional trade shows and customer presentations
  • Work closely with the Sales Development Representatives assigned to your territory
  • Responsible for keeping prospect records and contact lists accurate and up to date
  • 3-5 years previous sales experience in software sales required
  • Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling, conducting sales webinars and closing sales over the phone
  • Must be proficient at conducting needs analysis
  • Ability to engage clients as you build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Organized, independent, resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data (Dynamics a plus)
  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Prior CRM experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
Desirable Education and Experience
  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)
  • CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) experience
  • Software/Hardware sales experience

  • Salary: Competitive base pay with bonus based directly on performance
