Account Manager

Position Summary

Smoothwall, Inc. is seeking a highly, motivated Account Manager who will be responsible for maintaining a book of business, addressing customer concerns, and renewing client accounts to grow our business.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact to build long-term relationships with current Smoothwall customers
  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, and in-person meetings
  • Maintain a book of business within a given territory
  • Conduct (at minimum) quarterly check-ins with all current clients in a given territory
  • Provide renewal quotes and seek opportunities to upsell current clients
  • Deliver sales presentations to current customers who wish to expand their portfolio of Smoothwall products
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within a territory
  • Responsible for keeping client records and contact database accurate and up to date
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Previous CRM and MS Office experience
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Education and Experience
  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)
  • CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) experience
  • Software/Hardware sales experience
